Margaux Gundzik

Margaux is driven by a dedication to workers' rights and a conviction for rooting out corporate greed and misconduct.

As a student of UCLA Law's renowned Critical Race Studies Program, much of Margaux's legal scholarship was centered around navigating a legal system that is systemically unfavorable to disenfranchised communities and low wage workers. From early on, she cultivated a particular interest in the history and continuous development of labor and employment law and a concern for the pervasive problem of wage theft perpetrated upon low wage workers.

As a law student, Margaux externed for the Honorable Christina A. Snyder in the Central District of California. She also volunteered with Bet Tzedek as an advocate for wage theft victims in the garment industry and worked with UCLA’s Labor & Economic Justice Clinic to assist workers who lost their jobs in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in obtaining unemployment insurance. In her final year of law school, she worked in the Consumer Protection Unit of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and helped develop the LA District Attorney’s Wage Theft Initiative.
